Soyavit Ltd recognises its obligation to act responsibly, ethically and with integrity in our dealings with all parties involved - our employees, customers, suppliers or the community and the environment.

Applicable law

We comply with applicable laws and expect the same from our employees and business partners. In the course of our business operations, we comply with all applicable laws and regulations relating to health and safety, environmental and other matters.

Protection of resources

We are committed to being a good steward of natural resources and demonstrate this through appropriate measures (e.g. recycling, going paperless and using energy saving technologies).

Employee Management

We strive to minimize work-related injuries and illnesses. We also recognize that a safe and healthy work environment, along with employee retention and morale, improve the quality of our work. We are committed to open dialogue with our employees on all issues that affect their well-being. In particular, we encourage employees to provide information on health and safety and general working conditions.

We believe that the interests of Soyavit Ltd. and its employees can best be protected through open and direct communication between management and employees. We strive to create an environment where employees have the opportunity to communicate directly with management to resolve issues without fear of reprisal, intimidation or harassment. We respect the rights of employees to join or not join unions.

Soyavit has been certified under SMETA regulations since 2017 (SMETA is the most widely used social audit in the world).

Human Rights

We support, respect and recognize the human rights of our employees and are committed to a work environment free from unfair and inhumane treatment, harassment and unlawful discrimination. We treat our employees with dignity and respect and support an environment where work is voluntary and employment can be freely chosen. We do not tolerate child labour or expose children or young workers to conditions that are generally unsafe or hazardous to their physical and mental health and development.
